Our product aims to impact children under the age of 10. India alone, is home to over 270,000 visually impaired children. Visually impaired children can enjoy the benefits of visual exploration through tactile graphics. Tactile graphics give instant access to 3D information, such as shape, spaciousness, and depth. Our product, unlike pre-existing tabs, do not print all processed information thereby allowing for a greater understanding, thus more impact. Just as sighted people need to see as many objects as they can to enhance their knowledge of the world, the impaired need to touch as much as they can. Blind children should be given ”an ample opportunity for hands-on exploration and experimentation of objects”. Because they lack the benefits of visual exploration, blind children must be encouraged to learn tactual exploration to create accurate mental images of the world. The exploration can be done with the aid of tactile graphics, which can represent any object in the world.

1.Large scale implementation in schools/learning centers: We plan to do this also by distributing over 200 tabs to various of these organizations
2. We are also interning at the NIEPVD in Dehradun to work with the impaired while also displaying and implementing our model.
3. In the future, we will modify certain aspects of out model to cater to a larger audience (11-17 years old).
4. Our work will not stop here, we want to continue to grow and use our knowledge in science and computing to make the world a little better and easier.
